No More Nonsense- 4 Simple Healthy Diet Rules

4 Diets Rules Everybody Should Follow

Before we begin everyone needs to get to understand my humour. Its dry and you can’t drink it.

Today I would like to explain my diet or eating plan changes to you. Diet is a very complex word and theory. People hear diet and they hear restriction. Not really true, the trick is not to make food the enemy, but rather accept that some should be left to occasions & the ones recommended below should be viewed as your friends. Or at least friends to your body!

The first diet that I always recommend to clients is the “Anti Apartheid Diet” No whites allowed.

Broken down into eating language, It really means NO over processed white foods such as bread, pies, biscuits, fast foods, foods that have tons of sugar and salt, as they are preservatives.

Why “Anti apartheid diet” you ask?  Simple. The phrase forms part of a very large vernacular and image for the South African client and is somewhat relatable. Plus the concept becomes easier to remember and apply and spread.

The second diet that I recommend is called the “Traffic Light Diet”.

This diet encourages you to eat

Green foods– first (best choice)

Yellow foods- second

Red foods- last

This is actually a plant based diet- greens alkalise the body, and red foods are higher in sugar.

So, your plate should look like this:

 Mostly green veggies

 Then yellow veggies

 Then red veggies

What I am trying to achieve with these diets are a set of mental images that help the client change their eating habits rather than go on a diet.

Onto the third diet.

I suggest this as it’s a really fun diet. It’s called the ‘Rich Bitch Bitch”.

Here I say simply “if you can’t afford it, you can have it” what I mean here is cheap foods are generally high in food colouring, preservatives, herbicides, pesticides and are not organically grown.

However if you are looking for the slow foods such as farm raised chickens , lamb, beef, organic butter & cheese and beautiful wines- that are not cultivars and are only bottled that year -or organic fruits- that are grown privately and organically in unison with the land- great, but they are going to cost more… simple.

This leads to my last and final diet-“If God made it you can eat it” Again, Simply Leave man out of the equation and you have healthier foods. Leave big Pharma out of the equation and the food is healthier. Not herbicides, pesticides, GMO, poison hormones.

This is when I say: “have you ever thought why we are no longer getting grapes with seeds?” Seeds are the life giving energy of food… and well, of everything.

Imagine the female population without seeds…..???
